2008 Snowboarding Wall Calendar

12" x 12" Snowboarding is a sport of skill, creativity, and passion. It is difficult to say exactly when snowboarding was developed, but the first known snowboard prototype was called the “snurfer” in 1965. Jake Burton introduced the first ski technology for the snowboard in 1980. Throughout the years snowboarding has gained popularity. To many, snowboarding proved its professional viability when it made its debut in the 1998 Winter Olympics. Snowboarders, or shredders, claim there is nothing more thrilling. This 2008 wall calendar is devoted to the spirited bad boy of the alpine sports, snowboarding.
